Whether you're a brand stepping into the environmental space for the first time, or an organisation with a story that deserves to be told properly — I craft and create nature content that audiences genuinely connect with.
The same documentary craft behind Netflix, National Geographic, and the BBC — applied to your story.
Great storytelling builds emotional connection before it asks for anything. It's a craft honed across 15 years of nature and environmental documentary — and it's exactly what I bring to your project.
Environmental content has to get the science right. With a background working alongside leading researchers and institutions, I make sure your story is credible, accurate, and trusted.
With a background in natural sciences and grant writing, and relationships across broadcasters, scientists, brands, corporations, governments, and filmmakers — I have the network and skills to create bespoke content, pair brands with the right partners, and develop production strategies and campaigns.
Tell me your goals, your audience, and where you want to be. I start with a free Content Gap Analysis — a personalised audit of your current content across platforms, delivered before we speak.
The narrative framework, the scientific accuracy review, and the platform strategy — all shaped before a camera turns on. You approve before anything moves forward.
Content produced to broadcast standard — the same craft behind Netflix, NatGeo, and the BBC — delivered for the platforms your audience actually uses.
Formally trained through an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE, in partnership with the BBC Natural History Unit. Over 15 years producing and directing for the world's most demanding natural history broadcasters — then applying that same craft to brands, governments, and conservation organisations.

Most organisations assume they can't afford broadcast-quality documentary. They're often wrong — because they don't know where the funding is. I do. Grants, co-productions, philanthropy, and broadcaster partnerships that most agencies never see.
Whether your organisation doesn't know where to start, or knows what it wants to align with but needs to reach the right audience — I can help at any point. I also know where the funding is — grants, co-productions, philanthropy, and broadcaster partnerships most brands never see.
Organisations can enter at any stage.
I'm a Producer/Director based on the Gold Coast, Queensland — specialising in nature, wildlife, and environmental documentary for the world's leading broadcasters, and the organisations that need their stories told properly.
My path started in the field — years as a wildlife ranger and zookeeper before I ever picked up a camera. In 2009 I produced my first documentary series on instinct. It worked. But I knew craft mattered, so in 2018 I was accepted into one of the most competitive postgraduate programmes in the world: an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE, in partnership with the BBC Natural History Unit.
That combination — field knowledge, production experience, and formal mastery of the craft — is what I bring to every project, whether it's a Netflix blue-chip series or a brand's first genuine nature story.
"Della's access negotiation skills are second to none — she got us brilliant story access and great contributors from government scientists, leading shark experts and indigenous communities. She really understands how to produce impactful sequences, full of energy."
The brands, organisations, and scientists I work with end up with something they didn't expect — content their audience shares without being asked to, stories that outlive the campaign, and a genuine connection to the cause they care about.
